Hello everyone!

My name is Erik Avendano Lopez, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself as I embark on this marketing journey. Let me start by giving you a glimpse into who I am and what drives me.

As a current student at Linn Benton Community College, I'm pursuing a major in Business Information Systems. My passion for technology and business has always been a guiding force in my academic and career choices. I believe that understanding how to effectively manage and utilize information systems is crucial in today’s data-driven world. This course is a significant step towards honing my skills and knowledge in this field.

One of the primary reasons I enrolled in this marketing course is to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy. I am particularly fascinated by how marketing can leverage data analytics to create targeted campaigns that resonate with specific audiences. The ability to understand consumer behavior and craft strategies that drive engagement and sales is a skill I am eager to master.

Marketing is not just about selling products; it's about storytelling and building relationships. This perspective is what drew me to this course. I want to learn how to create compelling narratives that connect brands with their customers on a deeper level. Understanding the intricacies of social media marketing, digital advertising, and consumer psychology are areas I am particularly interested in exploring.

Outside of college, I am deeply passionate about running and weightlifting. While I am no professional by any means, these two activities keep me sane while balancing 30 hours of work and a full-time term. I believe it is essential to connect with yourself and push the boundaries of what your body is capable of doing, always in the safest way possible. Additionally, I have taken it upon myself to learn how to cut my own hair as well as my friends' hair. My cousins and father have done it for so long, and it felt only right for me to pick up the skill.

I'm also big into cars, specifically Japanese domestic vehicles like the Nissan 240SX, as well as Porsches and BMWs. One day, I dream of having a garage full of vehicles I adore, where I can drive and work on them as a hobby rather than a job.

Here are some photos of me cutting hair and some cars I have owned or soon wish to own.

Thank you for reading, and I can’t wait to embark on this journey together!
